Work Experience

Another of our interns is currently on work placement at Prism farm.

This intern absolutely loves animals and was really keen to work with them as a potential career option!

However, it was initially a huge shock to the system moving from a comfortable, warm training room to a physically demanding and cold outdoor space.

Although it's been a bumpy start for our intern, it's all a big learning curve and the benefit of short-term work placements is they give our learners opportunity to try different roles to find the right fit for them. It's also a positive exercise in pushing personal boundaries and stepping out of comfort zones which can have its own rewards.
