Young Drivers Awareness Course
Last week TTC came to deliver a Young Driver’s Awareness course to our supported interns. This is because some of our interns may choose to drive to their workplace if they wished to.
The training day covered topics such as: Drink and drug driving, Seat belt use, Speed management, Driver fatigue and Managing distractions.
The following morning we received a wonderful email from TTC telling us, “We would like to say ‘Thank You’ for the opportunity to be able to deliver our Young Driver Workshop to your students. The Trainer very much enjoyed the time spent with you and would also like to say a big "Thank You" to all the students for their superb energy and enthusiasm throughout the workshop. We’re sure that they all really benefited from the experience, and we hope they go on to put it all into practice when they start to learn to drive.
Please also pass on our sincere thanks to the parents who gave permission for their children to participate in the course. Finally, thank you for inviting us to the school, for the help of all your staff who helped with much of the organising, especially who made us so welcome and looked after us so well.”
Thank you to TTC for spending the afternoon with us and for delivering such an important, knowledgeable and engaging workshop.
