PREVENT training.

A short time ago, Danielle King come to speak to the interns about PREVENT, a national program in the UK that aims to stop people from being groomed into terrorist organisations, or supporting terrorism.

It is especially important for vulnerable people who may be easily taken in by extremists of any organisation, without knowing the subtle signs and recruitment techniques used.

Danielle spoke about how to identify misinformation and disinformation on the internet/social media and how to categorise each of them.

She then explained the importance of being careful when liking and sharing posts and information found online, and the potential repercussions that could come from it.
