Sustainable Energy: Net Zero Island

As part of the Bradford Manufacturing Weeks some of our Interns visited @universityofbradford to participate in Net Zero Island’s sustainable energy challenge.

The Interns were asked to think about being on a desert island, without any power source, and were shown ways to generate electricity using items around them.

This meant they were then able to wire up and run a windmill without using a plug socket!

Some of the interns were very enthusiastic about what they learned when they came back to CTD.

We will look forward to next year's Manufacturing Weeks and will definitely be back involved. Thanks to everyone for organising and engaging with us.
