We've been introducing our team over the last few weeks and today's focus is on the Employer Engagement/ Support team!

This team works one-to-one with our interns offering practical coaching and support on Work Experience placements, and they work closely with employers to ensure they're feeling supported and happy with the intern as well.

In the team is Chris, the Employer Engagement Lead and PI Tutor.

Chris is primarily office based and works with the broader team to coordinate new placements. He also delivers office based training sessions to prep the interns for life after CTD.

Chris lived many lives before going into teaching, and one interesting fact about him is that he used to lead treks through the Himalayas in India, Nepal and Pakistan!

Here we also have Mel and Aga, our Employment Support Coaches!

The Employment Support Coaches are responsible for sourcing work experience opportunities, liaising with prospective employers/ placement providers, and accompanying the Supported Interns on placements. This alleviates any initial concerns or worries the placement may have, frees up their time, and offers a source of comfort to the Supported Intern as they have a friendly face around helping them to develop on the job.

Mel has a degree in law, and Aga told us her life's philosophy is:
